O selectie dintr-un eseu: axiologie in estetica arhitecturii O data cu aparitia cretinismului consemnam aparitia omului modern, acel individ ce isi pune intrebari si se poate detasa de cotidian pentru a se evalua.Omul modern este un individ aflat intre mit (mythos) si ratiune (logos). Modernismul in schimb nu poate fi inteles o data cu aparitia lui ci abia in secolul al XIX-lea in context cu teoriile utopice si ale idealului transparentei plecand de la lumea déjà existent, de la inradacinare. Iluministul Ernest Cassirer (1874-1945) in Filozofia formelor simbolice a aplicat principiile gandirii kantiene in directia elaborarii unei teorii a culturii prin care afirma ca limba, miturile, religia, arta, stiinta sunt forme simbolice, de unde si conceptul de om ca “animal simbolic”.Acesta afirma ca adevarul filosofic este deasupra celui mitologic.[...] Omul modern relativeaza cu lucrurile si se plimba printre culturi. Omul modern poate sa-si puna intrebari si poate sa-si aleaga credintele, poate sa-si formeze propriile pareri si idei si cel mai important omul modern foloseste intrebarea : De ce ? si se asteapta sa gaseasca un raspuns. Omul modern da vietii o valoare si se intreaba despre sensul acesteia, in cultura antica viata este lipsita de valoare pentru simplu fapt ca omul antic nu se poate detasa de viata, el o traieste exact asa cum o primeste fara sa-si puna intrebari, deoarece el se integreaza in formele de viata, iar treapta cea mai inalta in ascensiunea sa o reprezinta cetatea. [...] Arhitectura reprezinta arta constuctiei, stiinta careia ii sunt subordinate scopurile celorlalte stiinte. Kant vede arhitectura ca fiind arta sistemelor, deoarece unifica cunostintele si le configureaza stiintific. Pentru Aristotel exista doua aspect ale lucrurilor: o forma care face lucrul sa fie ceva si o materie care reprezinta suportul formei. [...] Arhitectura se dezvolta in spatiu. Jean Baudrillard: “Arhitectura consta fara indoiala in a lucra pe un fond de deconstructie a spatiului” . Jean Baudrillard este de parere ca arhitectura seduce spatial si il face sa fie seducator, deasemenea este de parere ca intre arhitectura si spatial ei trebuie sa existe un duel, sa se confrunte arhitectura cu spatiul sa se produca actul seducerii prin comunicare. Spatiul din punct de vedere al geometriei, spatial este o reprezentare abstracta, lipsit de materie, fiind omogen, izotrop, continuu, nelimitat. Einstein percepe spatial in 4 dimensiuni folosinduse de cele 3 dimensiuni ale spatiului cunoscute si ceea a timpului, crezand ca pentru a repera un fenomen sunt necesare 4 variabile. Arhitectura este si ea solidara cu pozitia sa in spatiu dar si in timp. Arhitectura se dezvolta in spatiu si timp. Omul este atasat de ideea de a anula efectele unui timp a carui ireversibilitate suscita angoasa unui sfarsit apropiat. Pe de alta parte omul (arhitectul) trebuia sa cunoasca evolutia in timp a constructilor ca forma, trebuia sa stie simbolista ei si materialitate acesteia, arhitectul trebuie sa cunoasca trecerea timpului pentru a putea evolua si a nu cadea prada crevaselor necunoasterii.

Arhitectul trebuie sa stie ce neaga si de ce neaga trecutul si nu trebuie sa se foloseasca de negare doar pentru a se pune contra unui curent existent. Jean Baudrillard “Arhitectura este un amestec de nostalgie si anticipare estrema”. Dupa cum se stie lumea e intr-o continua miscare, curentele arhitecturale in trecut obisnuiau sa se pastreze de alungul unei perioade de durata lunga in aceasi directia poate si pentru faptul ca tehnologia s-a dezvoltat mai greu dar si pentru faptul ca din lipsa cunoasterii si prezenta unei credinte in niste idei bine stabilite omul nu a avut posibilitatea in a jongla cu fenomenul arhitectural. In secolul al XX-lea arhitectura a suferit niste transformarii majore si rapide, iesind din tipare, progresand prin aparitia unor noi programe arhitecturale, functionale dar avand ca suport noua tehnologie. Arhitectura moderna a trecut prin multe etape intr-un timp extreme de scurt, a fost consumata inainte de a fi inteleasa in adevaratul ei sens. Omul s-a dezradacinat in secolul trecut a avut libertatea de a gandi mai mult decat si-a putut imagina vreodata astfel s-a aruncat cu toate ideile sale asupra prezentului (acum trecut). Fiecare arhitect s-a exprimat diferit, a privi t spatiul diferit, a negat timpul sau s-a impletit cu acesta, a pastrat istoria sau a injunghiat trecutul. Datorita acestor cauze arhitectura si nu numai se afla intr-un impas major si o cautare continua, poate o reintoarcere in trecut sau poate o gandire comuna ar putea fi un raspuns. Directia a existat, dar drumul a fost ratacit. Astazi datorita a gandirii atat de diferite, a tehnologiei care face ca orice sa fie posibil, a miscarii, a dinamismului ce ne inconjoara, a progresului rapid omul nu are un singur raspuns, nu apartine unui curent, nu gaseste o singura solutie, nu poate alege un singur concept, isi poate exprima gandurile dar este intampinat de nehotarare, are mai multe raspunsuri pentru o singura intrebare si nu-si poate stabili un adevar pentru simplu fapt ca nu exista doar o solutie valabila, astfel acest present il frustreaza pe arhitect si il face captive haosului format de proprile sale ganduri nelimitate in acest secol si foarte diferite. Atunci cand un singur om are mai multe raspunsuri si mai multe ganduri e foarte dificil de adunat mai multi oameni cu acelasi gand si foarte greu de asamblat o idée comuna. Un gand poate fixa un obiect arhitectural, gandirea unui om poate face asta prin simplu fapt ca omul poate crede in gandurile sale, dar intrebarea ramane deschisa in ceea ce privest e un curent arhitectural sau ne vom obisnui cu o arhitectura pestrita?
